Before opening the OVP HEALTH Recovery Center, many months were spent renovating the building, which was previously a nursing home, into a completely remodeled facility. In addition to all new roofing and flooring; new security fencing and an electronic surveillance system; and a modern, upgraded kitchen and dining facility; OVP HEALTH invested in all new beds, flat-screen televisions in every patient room, high-grade personal and industrial washers and dryers, and a wide variety of indoor and outdoor recreational equipment and games for patients to enjoy.
